Why Solo?
I’d always wanted to travel but never had the courage as a shy introvert. Solo travel was the perfect push out of my comfort zone. With no one to slow me down, I could explore freely at my own pace.

Planning the Trip
I spent weeks researching places, activities and working out an itinerary routing North to South. Booking hostels 2-3 days in advance allowed flexibility. Transport was via buses, trains and occasional flights.

The cultural capital was idyllic to start my trip. Wandering through temples calmed my nerves. Interacting with fellow hostel guests helped overcome shyness. By evening I was chatting up locals in bars!
